Take your furkid on a date in some of the city’s best cafes where pets are welcome and people are tolerated.
To dine with your favourite four-legged fur friend is truly a privilege and while somewhat rare a few years ago; today, pet friendly cafes are all the rage. Take your furkid on gastronomical socials and let them in on the surging café culture in Klang Valley as you befriend other pet owners or go out for that cup of coffee over the weekend. Here are some pet hotspots to check out:-
1. CuBs & CuPs
Tucked within Sri Hartamas, CuBs & CuPs are run by dog-loving owners who have big hearts and great coffee skills. The café has two resident Huskies and a friendly Pomeranian, all who are loving, happy and roam free to greet and welcome anything looking for some serious pooch-loving. Customers are encouraged to bring their own dogs and they’re free to be without a leash so long as well behaved. While indulging in love and licks, don’t forget to fill your stomach as the menu offers an extensive range of usual café suspects from French toast, waffles, pizzas and pasta.

A big hit with people and dogs alike simply because the café buzzes with so much good energy. As with most of these cafes, dogs are to be seated outside where tables are limited, so best to avoid rush hour. The menu offers incredibly delicious crepes made with sweet and savoury options and the waiters have a good reputation of spoiling your bubs with friendly pats and belly rubs. Come for the crepes, stay for the vibes.

Customers can bring their own kitties to the café and sit down for light bites and hot cuppas. If popping by for some cat action sans contact, there’s a separate seating area that’s pet-free of course, but really, we all want to sit with these purring royalties.
