One of Bangsar’s greatest treasures, The Daily Grind, has been in the gourmet burger scene for quite a while, building its name with the socialites around the vicinity and growing its popularity by the positive word of mouth from its patrons.

Having received acknowledgements from many food reviewers, including from the Malaysia Tatler for being the Best Restaurant in 2013, The Daily Grind prides itself on doing things the old fashioned way.

They actually buy premium cuts of chilled imported halal meat and grind them at the premises as well as making and bottling their own range of sauces. Serving their burgers on a wooden plate, The Daily Grind gives their visitors an unforgettable feeling of meat at its finest. Their milkshakes and waffles are also to die for!

Fat Boys - The Burger Bar (non-Halal)

The Fat Boys, going by their name, is a no nonsense gourmet burger outlet. A notable feature of The Fat Boys is that their patrons can build their own burger, starting from the choice of bun (honey oat, whole meat and sesame) to the variety of patty that be can be prepared with (beef, salmon, lamb, 50/50, grilled thigh) down to the sauces (fifteen sauces altogether!).

It is the only joint that serves pork and the only non halal gourmet diner in our list. With outlets in classy areas such as Publika, Avenue K and Sky Park One City USJ, Fat Boys have a legion of loyal followers that keeps on building different tasting burgers each time they come around.

Killer Gourmet Burgers

Killer Gourmet Burgers or KGB for short, deserves to be on the pantheon of great gourmet burgers, simply because they offer more than 8 types of gourmet fries to choose from to go with their scrumptious burgers!

Its American styled decor brings a sharp Western feel but its burgers, tinged heavily with Asian flavours, is heavenly and brings the best of both worlds together.

Originally from Bangsar, they have now branched out into TTDI where they are creating a new burger excitement in the otherwise quaint area.

Brother John

Brother John at Damansara Uptown is the only street burger in our list but this burger joint brings out the Malaysian burger taste into the forefront of burgerworld!  Many swears this place to be the best street burger in town, beating many brands of burger bakar out there. Master Burger brings out the explorer in you, with double meat, double eggs and double cheese, and flustered with a generous portion of mayonnaise and BBQ sauce. This messy but lovely treat is one to remember!

Patience is a prerequisite when ordering at this place as there is normally a queue but all the time waiting will only serve to whet your appetite further.
