Takraw Power

30 August 2017

The 29th Kuala Lumpur SEA Games has been a testimony of athleticism and sportsmanship for the Malaysian contingent, especially for the female squadrons. We check in with our national women’s sepak takraw squad to see what’s kicking ahead of their big SEA Games feature.

With an outstanding collection of gold, silver and bronze medals by Team Malaysia this time around for the SEA Games, we take a moment to document the gruelling process of training by the national women's sepak takraw squad in preparation for their battle.

Albeit taking silver medals home, we salute these fearless femmes in going head strong with long-time champs, the female squad from Thailand and giving them fierce competition.

The women’s sepak takraw events were held from 20-27 August at Titiwangsa Indoor Stadium. For more info, visit www.kualalumpur2017.com.my.
